Angelica (Dang Gui) Roots of a herb. It has a characteristically aromatic and slightly sweet taste. Warming and sustaining to the circulation, helps regulating menstrual disorder, an antispasmodic. "Application: to painful, irregular or scanty menstrual periods, especially where accompanied by cramping and neuromuscular tension and/or debility, weakness or anaemia; to fleeting muscle and joint pains, especially when made worse by damp conditions; to dry and tense constipation.
